Step One: 15-Minute Consultation Call: Free
Consultation calls take place over the phone. During this call
I’ll ask you questions to find out what you need support with and to make sure you are a good candidate for my work.
You and your partner will have an opportunity to ask me questions to ensure I am a good fit.
If all feels right and our calendars sync- I'll collect the deposit, schedule your Half-Day Clarity session, and send over your intake paperwork.
I request a one-time non-refundable 50% deposit on your Clarity Session. This means I block any professional and personal responsibilities to show up for you!
Step Two: Half-Day Clarity Session- $580
What would it feel like if you could finish a months worth of therapy in a three hour session? I created this half-day intensive experience as a way to jump-start our work together.
So here’s what you can expect:
Before you come into my office, I‘ll review your intake information. Generally, these sessions take place between. 9am-12pm. And no worries, we will take some breaks to stretch!
During our session we will:
Map out the conflict-cycle you and your partner get caught in and how each of you respond when you feel disconnected.
I’ll provide feedback on steps you can start take to get more of what you want in your relationship.
You’ll be given resources to use in-between sessions
I want you feeling like I understand your pain and wants.
Step Three: On-going sessions
90-Minutes- $240 twice a month
After your half-day session, we will meet regularly for 90-minute sessions twice a month.
Why 90-minute sessions?
When I started this work- I saw couples for 45-50 minute sessions. The couple would be in the middle of a hard conversation or working towards deeper understanding. Then suddenly the clock would remind us our time was up.
90-minute sessions means we have more time to process big emotions like frustration and resentment, work on communicating from a place of love and understanding, getting clarity from unresolved conflicts, rebuilding trust after an affair.
Meeting twice a month allows you time to work on your relationship in between sessions and juggle your personal responsibilities.
-
So glad you’re feeling like this is a good fit! I accept credit, debit, HSA/FSA cards.
I do not accept insurance but I can provide you a superbill if you are seeking reimbursement from your insurance company.
-
Gotcha! Your relationship isn’t on the brink of divorce. Maybe you both are generally happy but think their is room to grow. Perhaps you two want to lay a good foundation before having children or getting married. Therapy can be helpful for couples in all stages of their relationship.
-
I wish I could support every couple, however my couples therapy approach won’t be effective if:
One or both of you have a serious untreated mental health diagnosis.
If there is an ongoing affair- or susception of an ongoing affair.
Physical Domestic Violence (towards people, animal and/or objects), Intimidation, and Uncontrollable Rage.
If one partner is fighting for the marriage and the other has decided to divorce and has no desire to commit to improving the relationship.
-
Let’s talk about this during your consultation call! If I have availability, I can provide some flexible options,. For example, sessions being reduced to 60 minutes ($160) upon your request and when appropriate for your care plan.
If you work unconventional hours, we may be able to adjust the frequency and length of sessions.Let me know and I’ll work with you the best I can.
-
This is a great question! Every couple is unique so duration can vary. Some couples can find solutions pretty quickly while others have deep wounds that need to be worked through.
Some couples reach their goals in two months and others need 6-8 months.
You are ready to start couples therapy but have some questions…
Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Rescheduling sessions: No Fee
Late cancellation and No-Show fee: cost of session
If you need to reschedule your session, do so at least 24 hours before the start of your session (this does not include the weekend)
Definitions:
Reschedule* is defined as changing your appointment time within the business week of your original session. Examples include
Moving a Monday 9am session to Wednesday at 2pm
Moving a 9am session to later in the day.
A request to reschedule will be honored so long as your therapist has open availability that week. If there is no availability, the request will be documented as either a cancellation or a late cancellation.
Cancellation- Notifying your therapist via email/ Client Portal Message/ Voicemail that you will be unable to attend a session at least 24 business hours before the start of the session.
Late Cancellation- being unable to attend your session and needing to cancel and/ or reschedule your session but giving me less than 24 hour notice.
“No-show” is defined as not being able to attend your session or needing to reschedule but giving me no notice before the start of your scheduled session.
Attendance Policy
Attending regularly scheduled appointments keeps progress going and prevents regression. Reoccurring cancellations/ rescheduling/ no-showing can slow progress and potentially increase regression.
We will do our utmost best to find a slot that matches your preferred availability. Clients can request to reschedule their session (permitting the therapist’s availability) within the week of their scheduled appointment without a fee. (i.e. moving your Monday session to the Thursday of that week)
RISK OF TERMINATION:
Reoccurring cancellations, requests to reschedule, or no-shows may result in termination of services or loss of your time slot. This is done to make room for other clients waiting to begin services.
We understand the demands of life and work. Your therapist will do their best to provide options that match your preferred appointment time.
